Postcards always spoil my holidays. last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian. Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word. Every day I thought about postcards.My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send cards to my friends.On the last day I made a big decision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card!

明信片总是搅乱我的假期。去年夏天，我去了意大利。我参观了博物馆，还去了公园，一位好客的服务员教了我几句意大利语。之后还借给我一本书。我看了几行，但我一个字也没看懂。我每天都在想着明信片的事情，我的假期过的很快，可我还没有给我的朋友们寄过一张明信片。到了最后一天我做了一个重大决定，我起的很早买了37张卡片，我在房间里关了整整一天，然而竟然连一张明信片也没写成。

语法

一般过去时

形式：v. 过去时(did)

用法：有明确的过去时间用过去时，上下文由过去的动作用过去时，根据上下文判断是否为过去做过的事情是否用过去时。

一般过去时变否定疑问

be动词 实义动词
一般过去时 You were happy. They had a meeting.
否定 You were not happy. They did not have a meeting.
疑问 Were you happy? Did they have a meeting?
特殊疑问 How were you? What did they have?

teach sb. sth. = teach sth. to sb

send sb. sth. = send sth. to sb

think about 考虑/想关于某事 pass v. 经过，时间经过

spend 花费，度过(只有人作主语时使用，后面可加任何东西)

主谓双宾

双宾语 = 人 + 物

能同时接人加物的后面都可以加双宾语。但能接双宾语不一定就非要接双宾语。

双宾语动词 + sb. + sth. = 双宾语动词 + sth. + to/for + sb.

往那个方向给 表示方向性给时，用to

表示目的 为了谁谁谁 ，用for

例：
Then he lent me a book. = Then he lent a book to me.
She gave me a book. = She gave a book to me.
I cooked him a meal. = I cooked a meal for him.
